About
What is this place?
This is a web comic about marshmallow candy bent on world domination that is updated Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I may update less often, I haven’t decided.
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Just Born, Inc. in any way shape or form and this comic is meant as a humorous take on their creation. The Peep name and Peep shapes are copyright to them. I really hope they have a sense of humor…
WTF is a peep?
A peep is an American marshmallow candy made by the Just Born candy company . It is an American tradition for most families that celebrate Easter. The original shape, a yellow chick, is the oldest of shapes and colors however the bunny shape has been around for decades as well. (Check the candy maker’s web site for more history) These days the Peep has infiltrated other holidays with other clever shapes and colors. Bunnies and chicks are now available in yellow, pink, blue and green while ghosts, cats, pumpkins, snow men and gingerbread men shapes are available for the appropriate holiday season.
Why do you hate peeps?
I wouldn’t say I hate them, I’m simply not overly fond of them. Chock it up to a childhood trauma (You’ll have to ask my family about that, they get a great kick out of telling the story).
Besides, any candy that can be put through these kinds of tests and come out unphased must be evil.
Who are you?
I supposed the nature of the internet is to create…how shall I say this nicely…curiosity.
If you must know who I am, I am Anya. I prefer to have no last name…I mean, I have one, I’m not like Madonna or Prince, I just don’t want you to know what it is.
Anyway, I digress.
I live somewhere in Midwest America (yes, one of those evil American pigs).
I’m old enough to know better and yet strangely, I don’t.
I don’t really enjoy long walks on the beach…wait, this isn’t a personal ad…what did you want to know again?
Why are you making a Web comic when there are so many out there?
Excellent question…piss off. Hah, no.
In all honesty the thought just sort of came to me one day and my reasoning was to become better at the Pen Tool in Adobe Illustrator. Silly reason? Maybe, but I fully intend on being a Pen Tool Master Level 8 soon.
